Now taking one painting contractor - O'Fallon, MO

Exclusive Customer Acquisition for Home Service Contractors

We build the demand. You answer the phone. The first two weeks - or 5 leads - are free.

We don't sell marketing. We sell the phone ringing.

We build and own the sites, the search presence and the phone numbers homeowners use to find a contractor in their town. When one of them wants an estimate, it goes to one contractor. No shared pool, no bidding, no four companies calling the same homeowner back.

1

Contractor per trade, per market

0

Leads sold twice

14

Days - or 5 leads - free before your first invoice

We handle the marketing so you can stay on the job

We build the demand and run the front end. Nothing to log into, nothing to manage.

01Demand Generation

A dedicated website and paid search built for one trade in one area, aimed at homeowners actively looking right now. Our site, our ad spend, our time - none of it billed to you.

02Screening & Routing

Form leads come to us first - we find out what work they want done, how big it is, and their timeline, then send it over written up. Calls skip us and ring your phone live, so you're the first voice they hear.

03Exclusive Delivery

Each lead goes to one contractor, sent as a single message with everything you need to pick up the phone. No portal, no login, no competing quotes.

How this actually works

Three steps, no long-term contract, and you can stop with two weeks' notice.

Everything free

Two weeks free, or your first 5 leads - whichever comes first. Everything after that bills.

You pay per lead

Two prices: one for a form lead we've screened and written up, one for a call that rings your phone. You'll know both numbers before the free window ends. No retainer, no ad spend, no setup fee.

Exclusive volume

You're the only contractor we send to in your trade, across an agreed list of towns. We write those towns into the agreement, so there's never a question later about what you were promised.

You work directly with the person doing the work

No account managers, no agency layers. One PM builds the marketing, screens the leads, and is the one you text.

Lead Project Manager

Jake

Jake runs the contractor side of Scharr Marketing. He's the one texting you a lead at seven in the morning, and the one you call when something's wrong with it.His background is the demand side of marketing. Scharr Marketing exists because of a pattern he kept running into in home services: the contractors doing the best work are rarely the ones winning the search results, and the companies best at marketing aren't the ones you'd want inside your house. Those are two different jobs. We only do one of them.We don't paint, we don't quote jobs, and we don't take a percentage of what you invoice. Our side of it ends when a homeowner is on your phone, expecting your call.

Common questions and answers

The details of working together. If something isn't clear, get in touch and we'll answer straight.

How is this different from Angi or HomeAdvisor?

+

They sell the same homeowner to four contractors and let you race each other to the bottom. We sell to one. When a lead reaches you, nobody else got it - and nobody else will.

What exactly am I paying for, and what does it cost?

+

Two things, priced differently. A screened lead is a homeowner who filled out the form, talked to us, and reached you written up with notes. A call is a new number that rang your phone and stayed on longer than ninety seconds. You'll have both numbers before you commit to anything, and the first fourteen days - or 5 leads - are free either way - every lead, every call. Missed calls, wrong numbers, hang-ups and your own existing customers are never billed.

Am I locked into anything?

+

No long-term contract. Either of us can stop with fourteen days' notice, no penalty. Before agreeing to our services, Scharr Marketing will draft and forward written contract (requiring contractor signature) stating all terms of our business together. We recommend to reference this for a majority of questions you may have. One condition: if you leave inside the first thirty days, the free-period leads become payable. The free window is there to prove the leads are real — not to be a free month.

What if a lead is junk?

+

Wrong or disconnected number, outside your area, not a job in your trade, or a duplicate we already sent - we replace it free. We don't credit a lead because the homeowner didn't hire you. We sell the lead, not the sale.

The O'Fallon painting spot is open.

One contractor gets every lead this market produces. The first fourteen days are free - leads, calls, all of it - so you can judge it on what shows up, not on what we told you.

Tell us where you're at

Tell us your trade, your towns, and where you're at right now - booked solid, dead, somewhere in between. We'll come back by text, usually within a few hours.

No call required, no pitch, no obligation.

By sending this you agree we can text or email you about working together. We don't sell or share your information and we don't run marketing lists. Reply STOP any time.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction & What We Do

This policy explains what Scharr Marketing collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Scharr Marketing is a registered name of Scharr Contracting, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Scharr Contracting, LLC.You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].We provide marketing and customer-acquisition services to home service contractors. We build and operate websites, search listings, advertising campaigns and tracked phone numbers that bring homeowners to local contractors, and we refer those homeowners to a contractor who performs the work.We do not perform painting or any other contracting work. Work at a property is performed by independent contractors. We are not their employer, agent, or joint venturer, and we do not supervise, guarantee, or hold liability for work they perform.

2. Information we collect

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the information you enter. That typically includes your name, your company name, your mobile number, your email address, and whatever you write in the message field. If you contact us by email or text instead, we keep that correspondence and the contact details it contains. We ask only for what we need to reply to you and to work out whether we can help. Please don't send us anything sensitive through the form - financial account details, government ID numbers, or health information. We don't need any of it and we don't want it on file.Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you viewed, how long you spent on them, and the site or search that referred you. This site is hosted by Carrd, which processes this information in order to serve the page to you. We may also use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages people read and which advertising brings visitors here. Where we use Google Analytics, information is processed under Google's own privacy terms, and you can opt out across every site that uses it with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site uses only what it needs to function and, where analytics or advertising tags are active, to measure how the site is performing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work. If we later run advertising that relies on cookies to measure conversions or show ads to people who have visited before, that activity is covered by this section and by the advertising platform's own policies.

4. Text Messages

If you give us your mobile number, you are agreeing that we may text you about working together.Message frequency varies. We text when there's something to say, not on a schedule.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with any third party for their own marketing.
Opting out of texts doesn't remove you from email, and vice versa. Tell us which you'd prefer and we'll honor it.

5. How we use your information

To reply to you and answer what you asked
To work out whether our service is a fit for your business
To provide the service if you become a customer — sending you leads, reporting on them, and invoicing
To understand how the website and our advertising are performing
To keep records we're required to keep, and to comply with the law
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

6. We do not sell your information

We have never sold personal information and we don't intend to. We share it only in these situations:Service providers who help us operate — website hosting, email, call tracking, analytics, invoicing. They may only use it to provide that service to us.
Where the law requires it — a subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government authority.
To protect people — where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, or harm to someone's safety or rights.
A business transfer — if the business is sold or merged, information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.

7. Homeowner information

Separately from this website, we operate consumer-facing websites where homeowners request estimates. When a homeowner asks to be contacted, we pass their request — including their contact details and what they told us about the job — to a single contractor who performs that service in their area, so that contractor can reach them. That is the entire purpose of the request, and it is disclosed to the homeowner at the point they submit it. Once a homeowner's details are passed to a contractor, that contractor's own privacy practices apply to how they use them.

8. How long we keep things

We keep contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as there's a live conversation, and afterwards for as long as we need them for records, tax, or legal purposes. When we no longer need something, we delete it. If you'd like your information removed sooner, ask us.

9. Security

We use reputable providers, keep accounts protected with strong authentication, and limit access to what's necessary. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — which is another reason not to send us sensitive information through a web form.

10. Your choices and rights

Whoever and wherever you are, you can email us at [email protected] and ask us to:tell you what information we hold about you
correct anything that's wrong
delete it
stop contacting you
We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request. We won't treat you differently for making one.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state or country's privacy laws — including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your information, and to appeal a refusal. Make the request and we'll honor what applies to you.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be obvious, not buried. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
